This is what I call a Long Stitch gone wrong.  Candle wicking is used for a lot of the flowers.  The roses at the front have been stitched in wool using bullion stitch.

DMC canvas stitched in wool, soft cotton and stranded threads, colour stream stranded, silk ribbon.  The bike was worked on calico with wire stitched in the wheels to make them firm.  The saddle bag and peddals were moulded in leather. 

A tapestry canvas turned into a long stitch using wool for the background and pearl no. 3 for the flowers.

The dog is stitched in stump work using embroidery threads. Pearl No. 5, soft cotton and silk ribbon were used.  The girls hat is a doll hat cut in half and stitched on.  The bird and the frogs are buttons,

Creative Tapestry.  This canvas originally had wool bales on the wagon but it was changed to logs.  The hat is made of felt.  Soft cotton, wool, stranded and metallic threads were used.

Stump work flowers and leaves were stitched for the front flowers.  The swans are stump work.  Colour Stream silk ribbon was used for the hollyhocks near the bridge. Pearl No. 5, soft cotton, stranded floss and wool were also used.

Threads used were Pearl No. 5 & 3, soft cotton, wool and stranded. 

Threads used...wool, soft cotton,stranded, silk ribbon and pearl No 5.  The chimney is stranded in brick stitch.  The roof is wool in long stitch.  Lorrel has created her own cottage garden.
