I used a profile of my daughters face and back stitched it and then used Brizilian threads to embroider the hair.

Pattern taken from Emb. & Cross Stitch.  Stitched on 18 count linen.  The threads were  No.10, 20 and 30 crochet thread silk  dyed to the desired colours.

Threads used fro the hardanger dress were Pearl No. 5 & 8 Anchor varigated and the silk dress was silk ribbon. The pattern for the hardanger was by Little People  in Porcelaine.

The Village Bag is from Inspirations.  A mixture of threads were used.  I mostly used silk. YLI, Colour Stream and Cascade House.

White Rajmahal Thread and Gold Satin box were used.  The pattern is stitched on white silk The flower and some leaves are stump worked.

Hardanger on 22 count sulta using Pearl No.5 verations and No. 8.

This silk ribbon is from Ribbon Embroidery and Stumpwork by Di van Niekerk.  It is a lovely book. The ladies have produced these pictures in embroidery classes.  As you can see each lady has chosen her own colour theme.
