Wool embroidery on wool material. Design taken from Inspirations book.  This is a  fun piece to stitch because you can  make and  add so much to enhance the embroidery.

Hardanger on 22 count sulta using Pearl No.5 verations and No. 8.

Chicken scratch table cloth stitched  with Pearl No.5.  I used pellon to stitch through and then lined the back and quilted the centre  and edge because I feel the back is untidy.  I like the quilted look.

This silk ribbon is from Ribbon Embroidery and Stumpwork by Di van Niekerk.  It is a lovely book. The ladies have produced these pictures in embroidery classes.  As you can see each lady has chosen her own colour theme.
