Classes

Day Classes are 9am to 11.30am and 12 noon to 2.30pm.

Night Classes are 6pm to 8.30pm.

 

Classes run in conjunction with school terms all year round.

 

Small group classes in:

 

De’coupage: 5 classes. Complete an article of your choice to the varnishing stage.

 

Paper Tole: 5 classes. Two pieces, one of your own choice. The first project is a flower in which you learn several techniques.

 

Social days are held for both De'coupage and Paper Tole on set Monday's (day and night classes). On these days you learn advanced techniques. It is a prerequisite that you have completed the beginners class).

 

Embroidery: Ongoing classes held 7 times a week. Learn candle wicking, silk ribbon, stump work, embellishing cushions, etc.

 

Creative Tapestry: Learn how to do 3D tapestry. Variety of threads and stitches used.

 

Creative Cloth Dolls: Starting with country dolls, progressing onto sculptured cloth dolls. Australian, NZ and U.S.A patterns.

 

Folk Art: 6 set projects in the beginners course, after completion, you are able to choose your own project.

 

Christmas Decorations: 6 classes. These decorations are made using number 9 beads, needle and quilting thread over compressed cotton balls. They become heirlooms.

 

Teddy Bears: Calico, patchwork and fur bears. Learn how to string and joint a bear.

Lamp shades, Patchwork, Appliqué Jacket, Silk Painting, Dried Flowers, Sewing - Heirloom Sewing, Easy De'coupage, Petal Porcelain, Decorated Boxes, Bunka Punch Embroidery, Easy Gifts...
